Revealing the mechanism behind the postulates of Einstein’s special relativity

Mechanism-Revealed Physics (19/40) ----- by Bingcheng Zhao

Revealing the mechanism behind the two postulates of Einstein’s special relativity: Einstein’s special relativity is based on two postulates. The first postulate is ‘the speed of light in a vacuum has the same value c in all inertial frames’; the second postulate is ‘all the laws of physics have the same form in all inertial frames’. However, the mechanism behind the two postulates has not been revealed until the birth of MRSRT (*note, MRSRT = Mechanism-Revealed Scales Relativity Theory, P. 133 ~ 147, Ch.1C, reference #1).

The principle of the Constancy of Velocity Scale (CVS) embedded in MRSRT reveals and is the mechanism behind the first postulate of Einstein’s special relativity (P. 141 ~ 142, 1.12.2, Ch.1C, reference #1). The principle of CVS is that: due to the scales of length and time in a moving inertial reference frame are simultaneously reduced by a same factor with respect to the scales in stationary inertial frames, velocity scale is same in all inertial frames, because velocity scale is the ratio of length scale to time scale in each inertial frame. CVS reveals and is the mechanism behind the first postulate of Einstein’s special relativity as that: due to velocity scale is same in all inertial frames, the speed (velocity) of light is same in all inertial frames, since the speed of light is determined by velocity scale.

The principle of Constant Scale Ratio of Mass, Length and Time (CSRMLT) embedded in MRSRT reveals and is the mechanism behind the second postulate of Einstein’s special relativity (P. 144, 1.13.2, Ch.1C, reference #1). The principle of CSRMLT is that: because the scales of mass, length and time in a moving inertial reference frame are all simultaneously reduced by a same factor with respect to the scales in a stationary inertial frame, the scale ratio of mass, length and time in a moving inertial frame is equal to the scale ratio in that stationary inertial frame, i.e., the scale ratio of mass, length and time is same in all inertial frames. CSRMLT reveals and is the mechanism behind the second postulate of Einstein’s special relativity as that: due to the scale ratio of mass, length and time is same in all inertial frames, ‘all the laws of physics have the same form in all inertial frames’.

The profound implication of revealing the mechanism behind the two postulates: after revealing the mechanism behind the two postulates, it turns out there are indeed solid physical mechanisms behind the two postulates of Einstein’s special relativity. However, Einstein’s special relativity is unable to reveal the mechanism behind its two postulates.

The key to understanding of the mechanism behind the two postulates: as long as you have known the greatest equation in the history of science, which is Einstein’s famous mass-energy equation (E = mc^2 or E0 = mc^2), you will easily understand the mechanisms behind the two postulates of Einstein’s special relativity, because the newly discovered law of object’s mass doing work, which reveals the mechanism behind mass-energy equation (P. 114 ~ 118, Ch.1B, reference #1), also ultimately reveals the mechanism behind the two postulates of Einstein’s special relativity (P. 141 ~ 142 & P. 144, Ch.1C, reference #1).
